What is the Arkansas Small Business Development Center?

ASBDC is a University of Arkansas at Little Rock statewide program that provides training, information and consulting services to existing and potential business owners in the state. The ASBDC does not provide financing, but we can help you prepare to obtain financing.

The ASBDC serves all of Arkansas from UALR's Little Rock-based state office and six SBDC subcenters at other universities.


ASBDC Training Courses

    ASBDC Research Center

    The Research Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our staff will be happy to help you in locating the information you need. This is a non-lending center, so please plan to use the materials on-site. For more details about the Research Center or to find out about information sources in your area, call (501) 683-7700.


    ASBDC Consulting

    ASBDC consultants provide one-on-one business consulting. These professionals can advise you about:

  • business growth and expansion

  • business plans

  • new business start-ups

  • buying and selling existing businesses

  • preparation of loan requests

  • financial analysis

  • To use these services, call your nearest ASBDC office to discuss your needs and arrange for an appointment.
