ARKANSAS NEW HIRE REGISTRY

Effective October 1, 1997, all Arkansas employers, regardless of size, are required to report all newly hired workers to the Arkansas New Hire Registry. Employers are required to report all newly hired employees within 20 days of their hire date.

Reports must contain:

• Employee name

• Employee Social Security Account Number

• Employee Address

• Employer Name

• Employer Federal Tax Identification Number

• Employer Address

Employers may report their new hires by mail or fax using the Arkansas New Hire Registry Reporting Form or a copy of the employee's W-4 form.
