Bhutan International Project

In May 2004, the Arkansas SBDC participated in an international business development project which assisted six women small business owners and managers from the Kingdom of Bhutan. The women business owners were accompanied by a representative of the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry."

The Arkansas SBDC provided two-days of classroom training and assisted the Bhutanese business women in locating and using small business resources in the Arkansas SBDC Research Center. The classroom training included the Arkansas SBDC's How to Write a Business Plan, First Steps in E-Commerce, Marketing Tips and Tricks, and Internet Marketing Techniques That Get Results seminars.
