Ortiz joins ASBTDC as business consultant

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Rudy Ortiz of Salt Lake City, Utah, joined the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as a business consultant March 1.

His areas of responsibility will include counseling, training and outreach to small businesses and potential entrepreneurs in central Arkansas.

Rudy worked 20 years in different technology industries and spent 15 years in various business environments. He has extensive small business consulting and teaching experience and previously served as assistant director of the Salt Lake Region Small Business Development Center and director of the Corpus Christi Small Business Assistance Center. He has an MBA with an emphasis in international business from Texas A&M.

"We are excited that Rudy Ortiz has joined the ASBTDC team. He brings unique experience in international business development," said Heather Robinette, ASBTDC consulting manager.

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is a partnership of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the UALR College of Business.
