LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - New social media trends and sites emerge every day, which can seem overwhelming to busy small business owners deciding whether to invest time in social media. New training programs from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center teach small businesses how to navigate the social media world.
ASBTDC rolled out the new training seminar, 5 Small Business Strategies for Social Media, statewide during Arkansas Entrepreneur Week Feb. 1-5. The seminar discusses what social media are and are not and how to connect with customers and build relationships using social networking. Participants learn low-cost ways social media can bolster their marketing efforts, which social media are a good fit for them and what it could mean for their businesses if they aren't involved in social networking.
