Google has announced that they will process merchant transactions through their Google Checkout system for free until the end of 2007. Google Checkoutô is a checkout process that integrates with websites, enabling customers to buy quickly and securely, using a single username and password. And once they do, Checkout charges their credit cards, processes customer orders, and receives payment in a designated bank account.
LEARN TO REACH CUSTOMERS IN A CROWDED MARKET PLACE
Google Checkout includes advanced features, such as, email billing and coupon creation. Merchants may bill customers for purchases by sending them a Google Checkout invoice over email. The email will contain a link that customers can click on to pay you via Google Checkout. Merchants may also create coupons from the Google Checkout Merchant Center. Merchants can specify $-off discounts and %-off discounts, and add restrictions such as "one per customer," "new customers only," and so on.

Want to reach customers in a crowded market place, but donít know how? Then try the Arkansas SBDC's online training course Positioning Master Class. This course defines what positioning is and how it works as a communications tool to reach customers in a crowded marketplace. Positioning is about perceptions not products. Market strategy is therefore planned in the mind and not the marketplace. This positioning course puts forth and describes the available positioning strategies including the positioning of a leader, the positioning of a follower, and the tactics for repositioning the competition. It also presents the easiest way of getting into the prospect's mind and helps you to prevent the most common positioning mistakes.
The course is only $30.00 and takes an estimated two hours to complete. You will also get the following course tools free:
- Positioning Strategy Guide
- Positioning Overview
