NOAA SBIR Solicitation Expected Mid-October

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has announced its intent to issue its Fiscal Year 2009 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program solicitation on or about October 15, 2008. The solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov.

Research topics that NOAA expects to include in this solicitation are Ecosystems, Climate, Weather and Water, and Commerce and Transportation. NOAA Phase I SBIR awards provide up to six months for project performance and a maximum budget of $95,000.
