How & Why You Need to be Added to Your Recipient's Address Book

United Airlines emailed their clients asking that their clients add United Airlines to their address books. Why? To improve the chances of United Airlines' email getting through the many spam filters.
For most of the major email providers,if your email address is in your customer's address book, then your email is whitelisted and avoids the junk folder. Images are displayed.
