5th Annual Create the Future Design Contest

Arkansas entrepreneurs once again have the opportunity to compete in the "Create the Future" Contest. The contest invites entries of innovative ideas in any of four design categories.
The four categories are
• everyday products,
• medical,
• safety,
• transportation.

Entrants are asked to provide a brief description of the design idea, including its novelty, application and potential benefits. Entries must be received no later than November 17, 2006; winners are projected to be announced in March 2006.

The 2005 Grand Prize Winner was Patrick Scholes of Germantown, TN. His design idea for a Low-Cost In-Vehicle Emergency Warning Device (as well as the ideas of other 2005 prize winners) is described on the contest web site.
