Innovation to Commercialization is Agenda for October 6

Entrepreneurs and researchers interested in commercializing technology are encouraged to attend this week's 4th Annual Technology Conference at the Radisson Hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Innovation to Commercialization conference is Thursday, October 6. To register and/or see the complete conference brochure, log onto http://sbdc.waltoncollege.uark.edu/techcon. The required pre-registration fee is $30.

The day's speakers include Dr. Chris Busch, Dr. Tom Cellucci and Mr. Vinny Schaper. Busch provides consulting to technology-based small businesses and is a former successful owner of a technology business. He is a champion of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, having successfully competed for awards and assisted many other entrepreneurs in competing for them. Cellucci will discuss the growth of his firm, Zyvex Corporation, into a leadership position in nanotechnology products and services. Schaper is an SBIR industry consultant and retired Navy SBIR Program Manager who will be available for one-on-one discussions with attendees. The event is co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas' Innovation to Commercialization Incubator, the Arkansas Small Business Development Center and the Arkansas Department of Economic Development.
