Homeland Security R&D Conference

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is sponsoring Working Together: R&D Partnerships in Homeland Security. This two-day conference is designed to encourage partnering among scientists and engineers from government, national labs, universities and private sector firms. The focus will be on research and development to prevent, respond to and recover from terrorist threats.

DHS has scheduled the conference for April 27 and 28 in Boston, at The Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center. Participants are encouraged to register on-line by April 20th to avoid onsite registration lines. Conference fees are $165 which will cover opening and closing plenary sessions,technical sessions, poster sessions, working meals, two luncheons and networking breaks. A welcome reception on Tuesday evening and a Wednesday evening banquet carry additional fees for participants who select these events. Limited hotel accommodation at conference rates is available if booked before March 25, 2005 by calling 1-877-SEAPORT.
