Internet Auctions - Whats Hot for Holiday 2004 Season

Have you ever wanted to know what products are hot with consumers? Monitoring eBay and other Internet auction sites can provide a wealth of information.

eBay.com offers a What's Hot feature in eBay's Seller Central. This feature provides merchants with monthly listings of specific categories of merchandise having over a 50% conversion ratio and increasing sales. Also featured is eBay's 2004 Holiday Hot List which are detailed lists of brands and products predicted to be in high demand and short supply for holiday. Lists are available for computers, consumer electronics, cameras, photos, cell phones, clothing, jewelry, collectibles, toys, books, movies, music and sporting goods.

The Arkansas SBDC has recently developed a new three-hour seminar on selling on Internet Auctions. This new 2005 seminar will provide a comprehensive look at selling your products on eBay and other Internet auction sites. A key seminar focus will be on market research. Watch for listings of this exciting seminar being presented at a location near you at asbdc.ualr.edu/training/computer.asp
