Researching Patent & Trademark Information is Topic of Conference

Do you have a great idea? Do you want to know where to look for information on patents and trademarks? The ASBDC in collaboration with the Arkansas State Library is offering a seminar to give you the resources and information you need to protect your great idea.

Topics to be discussed at this one-day event will include: trademarks, copyrights, utility and design patents, provisional patent applications, invention promotion firms, patent and trademark searching and electronic filing.

You are invited to attend this seminar on September 21st from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the UA Cooperative Extension Service in Little Rock. There is a $15.00 per person fee that includes lunch.

Speakers include:
Michael White, Tom Turner and Christine Kitchens, U.S. Patent and Trademark Depository; Ray Cox, Wright, Lindsey and Jennings; Jason Pederson, KATV consumer reporter; Steve Hollowell, Office of the Secretary of State; Mildred Holley, Arkansas Small Business Development Center; and representatives of the Arkansas State Library.
