Dept. of Defense Now Accepting SBIR Proposals
by Mildred Holley, Technology Programs Manager

The Department of Defense (DoD) began accepting SBIR proposals in response to its 2004.1 solicitation on December 1. Proposals must be submitted electronically using DoD's Electronic Submission Web Site at www.dodsbir.net/submission/. The deadline for DoD receipt is 6:00 a.m. EST on January 15.

Potential applicants need to check the DoD SBIR web site regularly for posted announcements that may affect their proposal preparation. For example, Navy has cancelled topic N04-046 and Air Force has cancelled its topic AF04-206. See www.acq.osd.mil/sadbu/sbir/solicitations/sbir041/index.htm for details.
