Mainstreet Musician Supply
Christy and Greg Nunley, Owners
Nashville, Arkansas

After attending the "Business Advantage" series, a four-week small business course offered by the HSU SBDC, Christy and Greg Nunley realized they needed a plan to free up more operating cash for their business. Mainstreet Musician Supply carries instruments and sheet music and provides services such as music lessons and guitar repair and building.

The Nunleys, who opened their business in Nashville in 2002, turned to Lonnie Jackson, Center Director, HSU SBDC. Jackson worked with the Nunleys to prepare a loan proposal to consolidate debt, improve their cash flow and purchase an exterior sign for their storefront.

Southern Financial Partners in Arkadelphia approved and funded the Nunleys' loan proposal. The Nunleys believe the training they received in the "Business Advantage" course has been invaluable in the day-to-day operations of their business.
