AlarmTec Systems is a full-service dealer, designer, and integrator of low voltage products including intercom and nurse call, security and intrusion, fire alarm, closed circuit television, and access control systems. While the firm has customers in all market sectors, AlarmTec Systems specializes in the healthcare, manufacturing, and government industry verticals. AlarmTec Systems understands and supports the individual and complex requirements of these market sectors, providing a range of services from intial system design to installed system maintenance. AlarmTec Systems is proud of its reputation as a low voltage systems integrator with what it takes to deliver a total product on time and within budget. Under Ed Eudy's leadership, sales have increased from less than $200k in 1994 to more than 1.5 million in 2001. The firm currently employs 23 people, all of whom are deeply committed to helping clients meet the ever increasing challenges of maintaining security.

With the assistance of Mildred Holley, business consultant in the ASBDC lead center, AlarmTec Systems successfully prepared and submitted an SBA loan request to provide funds for existing operations and future growth. Twin City Bank and SBA provided term financing for long-term debt. Twin City Bank also provided a line of credit without SBA's guaranty. These fundss have helped fuel AlarmTec's growth in its Memphis, Tennessee operations, established in June 2001.
